Technology in Schools Nowadays..

I would like to share with you the experience of technology I encountered when I went on my placement to Glyncollen Primary School. I was in the nursery classroom in the morning and the reception classroom in the afternoon, both classrooms had interactive white boards, a laptop and a music player. On the second afternoon that i was in the reception class the children watched the nativity story on the white board, they also answered a few questions about the nativity. It was really enjoyable as all of the children were interacting together. The school hall also had a music player and a projector. Thursday years 4, 5 and 6 had a dress rehearsal and the rest of the school were able to watch. As it was the day of the Christmas dinner, after the children finished their lunch they watched ‘Polar Bear’ express on the huge projector in the hall. I feel that technology has developed so far in schools since I was a pupil.  They now have interactive white boards and the children are able to work as a class to do an activity which i feel is good because it brings the class together.
